Turkey’s leading digital signage company Sistem 9 Medya, through Globalturk Capital, attracted investment from NBK Capital for 51% of its shares.
Globalturk Capital played a key role in an investment in the digital signage sector by National Bank of Kuwait Capital (NBK Capital), a leading private equity fund in the MENA region. NBK Capital’s $310 million NBK Capital Equity Partners Fund II became a 51% owner of Sistem 9 Medya. With this partnership, representatives of NBK Capital and Baris Oney, Managing Partner of Globalturk Capital became new board members of Sistem 9 Medya. The capital raised is planned to finance the growth of Sistem 9 Medya.
