Blippar decided to invest in Turkey after having researched the market for 2 years and being convinced primarily by its exclusive Turkish partner 360+ Media Interactive to directly launch Blippar services in Turkey. Blippar Turkey was officially established on the 20th of November 2014 and the press announcement was made end of November through a series of events in Istanbul.
